November 8, 2016

So it’s November 8, 2016 and you all know what that means…voting day!! This is the day we pick the next president of the United States of America.
I don’t know about you, but today (for me) is so exciting! The reason this is so exciting is because when I get older, I want to be the president of the United States of America. I have had so many people who have gotten me to this point. I won’t name any because I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings if I don’t include them.
This day will go down in history because a woman is coming so close to being the first woman president! Hillary Clinton is such a strong, proud woman and I think she deserves to win.  You don’t have to agree with what I just said, it was just my opinion.
I’m sorry that I haven’t blogged in a very long time. To those who read my blog, thank you for reading this. We’ll see who wins!

September 2012.
My seven year old niece has become a contributing writer to my blog. She is very opinionated and expressive, just like her auntie.

Every Day.

Why is it every day people are doing different things?

Some people are going to work.  Other people are going to school.  Well, the answer is that everyone has a special part in their life.  Sometimes you do this.  Other times you do that.  It’s the way of life.  It goes for everyone.

Why do people have to work and do their part?  Well, people work to get money and help his/her family.  Sometimes, your mom/dad has work and is away a lot.  It can be very hard sometimes.  Trust me, I know.  Kids and sometimes adults go to school to get educated and that is a very important thing.  If we didn’t go to school, we would be a bunch of dumbose, an no one would like that, would they?  I don’t think so.

How can you survive every day?  Every day you need these 4 things: water, food, fresh air and warmth.  If we didn’t have those 4 things we would all be dead right now.  The adults probably need 8 cups of water a day. (Well that’s what my dad told me).  And sometimes I believe my dad.

Could you survive without your family?  I don’t know about you but when I get older and have a family, I don’t think I would survive without them.  I don’t think I would survive because I couldn’t do everything myself.  Children have chores.  Men have chores.  Women can’t do everything themselves.  Men have to do shopping, cleaning and other things.  Children have to clean, take out the trash and other things.

What did we talk about?  Well, we were just talking about the daily life. What you need to survive?  Why do people do different things?  Why do people have to do their part?  Things like that.  Well, I hope you enjoy my writing.  Have a great day!

I went to the Cape this summer with my family. We go back every year because we like the weather, the beach and it’s beautiful. It’s breezy too and we went for a bike ride and watched the sunset and it was so pretty.
Uncle Mike caught some clams and crabs and me and my auntie Cheryl picked the meat out of the crabs to make crab cakes. Eeeeuuuww!!!  It was gross and it didn’t smell so good, but I fought through it. Brie didn’t want to help us because she thought it was gross too and she didn’t believe we could make it.
We rinsed the crab with water so the pieces of shell sunk to the bottom. My auntie taught me how to make the crab cakes. I had to stand on a chair because the counter was really tall. I put my hands into the bowl to mix the crab cakes and made balls that I flattened and one even looked like a heart. I cooked it in oil and I liked flipping them.
We shared them with everyone for an appetizer and they were so good. That was one of my favorite parts of the Cape because reaching my hands in the crab cakes felt kind of weird, but in a good way.
Talia screams out, “I love crab cakes!”

So is a nomad a person who lives in their car??? My aunti is becoming a nomad and she is not going to live in her car, but she is not going to have a home to go home to. Because she is a big girl she can make big girl decisions. I think it's kind of cool to have a nomad for an aunti. Well she's excited about it and I am happy for her. We have a bed in our basement and maybe it would be cool if she could live in our basement. That really would be kind of cool. What is she going to eat?? Is it like eat garbage on the street?? She will have more $$$ to play with she tells me. WOW!! We could buy clothes and shoes and make-up  or a really expensive birthday present for my mom.  Oh yeah.....that's right! I ask her to read it back to me and she says "she can't read what she just dictated because she is getting old" and can't see so well( she needs her glasses). I whisper in her ear .... I really want her to live old enough to meet my children. ...............
